C.E.T.; Passed away peacefully at his home in Elora on March 7th, 2010 in his 84th year. Erich will be greatly missed by his wife Victoria (Crookes) and his sons Norbert & his wife Sharron and Peter & his wife Deborah Stevens. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Renee and Michael (Carmen). Survived by his sisters Christa and Gerda of Germany. Predeceased by his beloved 1st wife Berta (Bodine) in May 2004 and his brother Gunter. Erich served as Chair and committee member of the Canadian Standards Association, Chair and committee member of the Planning committee of Elora & Centre Wellington, volunteer with Victim Services of Wellington County, Red Cross Meals on Wheels, Blood Donor Services, St. Joseph Long Term Health Care Foundation – Festival of Trees, member of “Friends St. John Ambulance” and was a proud member of the Quarter Century Club of GSW. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Wednesday, March 10th from 2-4 & & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 11th at 1pm.
