LANDRY, John James (Hawkeye) Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 30, 2018. John James (Hawkeye) Landry, in his 92nd year, was the beloved husband of the late Helen Elizabeth (nee Bonnar) Landry (1997). Hawkeye was the dear father of the late Mary Lorraine Lemire (2018), Diane Landry (Shawn Kirby), John Landry and Paul Landry (Kathy). He was the loving grandfather of the late Keith Lemire (2014), Jamie Lemire, Joshua Davison, Nicole Landry, Jacob Primeau and Michael Landry. Hawkeye is survived by his brother Eddie (Marie) Landry and Billy Landry. He was a loyal employee and foreman at Crowe Foundry, Hespeler. Hawkeye loved to go fishing in Collingwood. He was predeceased by his siblings Rose Theresa, Mary Addelaide, Mildred, Louise, Lloyd, Chuck and Wilfred and many family and friends in Cape Breton. Thank you for all the generous support given to Hawkeye from Seniors to Seniors. Friends were invited to meet with the family for a funeral service at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
