Krekel,Josef August; On Thursday, April 28, 2011, Josef passed away at age 78, peacefully at home with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Elisabeth (Motz). Loving father of Monika (Sergio) Gazzola, Karin (Thomas) Ruigrok, Annette (Benjamin) McCallum, and Step daughter Monika (Allan) Campbell. Loving grandfather of Amanda, Nikki, Stephan, Emily, Bryan, Travis, Rebeka, Zachary, Jessica and Katherine. Loving brother of Rosemarie Rasel, Heinrich (Brigitte) Krekel, Ottilie Henkel, and Elisabeth (Klaus) Maas. Brother in law of Gottfried (Elizabeth) Lutz. Loving Uncle of many nieces and nephews in Germany, France, United States and Canada. Visitation at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus, Ontario, on Tuesday, May 3rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass is at St Joseph Church on Wednesday, May 4th at 11am.
