WELLINGTON NORTH – Knox Presbyterian Church in Conn hosted its annual nativity scene exhibit over the last weekend of November and first weekend of December.

The church’s basement was filled with manger scenes, over 250 angels, a collection of nativity-themed Christmas cards dating back to the 1970s, and displays featuring international Christmas traditions that included recipes for sharing.

Organizer Janet de Groot said setting up the elaborate display began early in November.

This year, at least 50 new nativity sets were added, so organizers got creative and  added second tiers to some of the display tables.

De Groot estimates 630 nativities overall.
