KNOL, Lois Ada (Kells); Passed away peacefully Tuesday July 5th surrounded by her loving family at her home in Elora after a hard fought battle with cancer.Lois was born on August 19, 1944 in Palmerston Ontario. Lois was predeceased by her parents Clifton and Hazel (Main) Kells. She worked for the Department of Agriculture at the University of Guelph. She also worked for over 30 years at the Wellington Terrace in Elora. She held a degree in Administration of Homes for the Aged from McMaster University. Lois leaves behind 2 children- Jeff (Leanne), Donna (Ken). Step Grandchildren- Kori, Katelynn and Brett. Step Great Grandchildren- Madison and Sophia. She also leaves behind her brother Earle (Carol) and her 2 sisters Muriel (Don) and Jean, nieces and nephews, along with many friends. Lois loved to travel and has driven coast to coast in Canada along with the majority of the United States. From the tip of the Florida Keys, Alaska, California, Cape Cod and many states in between. She also traveled to England, Ireland, Mexico and various other countries. She was always willing to help anyone whether it  be to drive them somewhere or provide a roof over their heads when needed. She also loved vacationing at the trailer in the summer and loved to rug hook. Although she will be greatly missed, we have relief in knowing that she is no longer suffering. Visitation was held  at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm,  a funeral service  followed  at 4:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
