Kiwanis music festival continues

GUELPH  – The Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph has announced its 2025 Festival, with officials  promising a celebration of young musical talent and artistic achievement.

 The Festival provides a platform for young musicians to showcase their skills, receive valuable feedback from experienced adjudicators, and foster a lifelong love of music.

The festival will continue until April 25 and performers from Guelph and beyond will take to the stage, sharing their talents with audiences and adjudicators who are experts in their fields.

There are solo performers in guitar, strings, piano, brass and winds, voice, and harp. Audiences will also be treated to small and large ensembles, including the region’s best bands, youth orchestras, and choirs. 

Volunteers needed

The Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph relies on the community’s support to make the event a success. With so many classes and venues, the Festival needs volunteers at all locations. Volunteer opportunities are available for those interested in serving as marshals or adjudicator assistants.

Audience members aged 13 and over are $5 each or $10 per family. Donations are welcome and can be e-transferred to admin@gkmf.ca. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $10 or more. All admission fees and donations go toward scholarships and awards for performers.
