Kitchen in the Park Project returns to Bissell Park
Saturday pancakes – Once spring starts, the Kitchen in the Park Project in Bissell Park in Elora isn’t far behind. It is an open air cooking space where people can enjoy a breakfast or take home some buns, depending what is cooked each Saturday. On May 13 it was Dutch baby pancakes. Coupled with this, Chris Jess from the cooking school at the Centre Wellington District High School had his own Smoke and Syrup Festival. All proceeds went to the CWDHS Food School. This was all going on while the Elora Farmers Market was getting started for another year. Duncan Courtney from Calgary Alberta enjoys pancakes with the help of his parents. Photo by Bill Longshaw
