Kirk, Alan Dixon; Alan Dixon Kirk, 85, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at Groves Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband to Joan (Wilson) Kirk, his wife of almost 54 years; caring dad to Lori Crean (Dave) and proud grandpa of Kelsey and Riley. He now joins his late son, Scott (1980). Survived by his sister, Mildred Manley, sisters-in-law, Helen Kirk and Mildred Wilson (Jim), brother-in-law, George Wilson (Yvonne), and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by brothers, Harold (Marge), Chester, Nelson (Peggy), Andrew (Yvonne), and brothers-in-law, Jim, Dan and Bill Wilson. Friends and family were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Monday, January 28th, 2013 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, January 29th, at St. John’s United Church, Belwood at 11:00am. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to Groves Memorial Hospital, St. John’s Building Fund, or a charity of your choice.
