KIPP Elora invites families to join Santa for post-parade cookies
After Santa weaves his way through the village during the Nov. 24 parade in his honour, families are invited to follow the parade to Bissell Park for some homebaked treats.
The parade will proceed from David Street along Geddes, Metcalfe and Mill Street East to end at the KIPPelora bread oven site in Bissell Park.
The parade after party will feature Christmas Carols sung by the Elora Festival Youth Singers.
Santa will be ready to greet the children and share nut-free cookies and goodies, baked by KIPP Elora volunteers.
The bread ovens will be warmed up, to keep everyone nearby warm too.
Donations are welcome and will go to support the work of KIPP Elora volunteers, allowing them to continue community activities at the oven facility into the new year.
