Kilbourne, Jean Elizabeth Doris; of Highgate, Ontario, Jean Kilbourne passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Friday, June 1, 2012 at the age of 85. Born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, daughter of the late Alex and Lottie Harbottle. Beloved wife of Harold Kilbourne since 1949. Dear mother of Tim Kilbourne of Highgate, and the late Sandra Kilbourne, Susan Busse, and Janet Gow. Grandmother of seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Sister of Lorraine Newson of Listowel, and predeceased by brothers John, Elvin, and Lorne. Jean was a Registered Nurse and Graduate of the Ontario Hospital in Hamilton in 1949. She was also a member of the former Highgate United Church. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown (519) 674-3141 on Sunday, June 10 from 2:00-4:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11:00am with Rev. Mary Elford officiating. Interment in Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate.
