Kids Garden Club harvests for EWCS food bank
The July Kids Garden Club ended its session on July 29.
Throughout the month, the children participating in the program learned about all aspects gardening, from planting to the insects that live in the garden.
The children helped with weeding, tending, watering and had the chance to taste some of produce.
Organizers expect to start harvesting for the East Wellington Community Services Food Bank within a couple weeks.
