Folkway Music here has added another summer concert to its line-up.
On Aug. 24, it will welcome two-time Juno award winning songwriter Ruth Moody for an intimate performance.
Moody, from Winnipeg, is a founding member of the internationally renowned, Billboard-charting trio The Wailin’ Jennys, and former lead singer of the Canadian roots band Scruj MacDuhk.
In 2010, Moody released her highly-anticipated solo album The Garden to rave reviews and was nominated for a Juno award.
The show will take place at 8:30pm at Folkway Music, 163 Suffolk Street W., in Guelph. Tickets are $20, plus HST. Doors open at 8pm and seating is limited.
