Julie Crochetiere performs on Jan. 31

This com­munity will host rhythm and blues and soul musician Julie Crochetiere on Jan. 31.

Crochetiere is a Montreal native whose CD A Better Place sold over 20,000 copies in North America. Her CD became the eighth highest downloaded album on iTunes Canada’s soul and r&b chart and has been released in France, The Netherlands, and China.

The Rhythm and Warm Winter Soul concert is at the Eden Mills community hall, 108 York Street.  Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Eden Mills Community Club.

Tickets are available at the Bookshelf Café in Guelph, or by calling Kit Bresnahan at 519-856-1188. Advance tickets are $15. Beer, wine, and finger foods will be available.
