Journeys team earn Best In Ontario Southwest TAP Champions
Pool champs - Journeys, a team of north Wellington-area pool players earned the title “Best in Ontario Southwest TAP Champions” at a regional pool tournament held at the Hanover Legion from Feb. 18 to 21.
Team members, who gather regularly to play pool at Legions in Mount Forest and Harriston, include, from left: front, Kyle Ubdegrove, Paul Tansley, Reece Small (Matt’s Small’s daughter), Matt Small; back, Mark MacKenzie, John Snyder, Les Small, Chris Seifried and Jeff Cribbin.
The win in the 13-team regional event eared the Journeys the top prize, including a trip to Atlantic City to represent the Southwest Ontario region in a major tournament.
