John McDermott at River Run Dec. 1
River Run centre welcomes the return of Canadian tenor John McDermott on Dec. 1 at 7:30pm.
He will be joined by guest Russell De Carle, of Prairie Oyster.
McDermott’s performances have become a long-standing Christmas tradition at River Run.
McDermott will perform some songs from his new CD which tells the story of our Canadian heroes. Journeys is a deeply personal recording, featuring The Dreamer and The Gift of Years, written by Eric Bogle, and the emotional Bringing Buddy Home, which has been played on radio in the U.S. and Canada in tribute to the fallen.
Tickets are on sale through the box office. Prices range from $35.50 to $42.50. As part of the uGO program, university and college students may purchase tickets at the box office for only $20 each.
