Jeanne Dalton Memorial tourney set for Sept. 23-25
On July 25 Centre Wellington councillors approved a special occasion permit for the 5th Annual Jeanne Dalton Memorial 3-Pitch Tournament Sept. 23 to 25.
The permit from Centre Wellington Minor Softball Association Inc. allows the organization to serve and sell alcohol for the event at the Elora Community Centre softball diamonds.
Centre Wellington Minor Softball Association Inc. (CWMSA) has been serving Centre Wellington with youth softball for well over 25 years.
In recent years, the addition of two adult divisions further directs profit to youth softball, which remains the focus of the organization.
