January Blooms hopes to chase winter blues
Artists Maria Pezzano, Guelph, and Marilyn Koop, of Elora, offer an antidote to the winter blues with January Blooms, an exhibition of flower paintings.
The artists are known for an exuberant use of colour, and they are showing together for the first time at Guelph's Whitestone Gallery.
Run by a group of 25 or so artists called The Peoples Art Collective, the gallery is a newcomer to the Guelph art scene. Koop and Pezzano's show opens on January 17, from 7 to 9pm, to Jan. 27.
