Janssen, John; Peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Monday February 18, 2008 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband for 55 years of Dina Janssen of Arthur. Dear father of Jackie and Cater, Peter and Karen, Jim and Linda, John and Cindy, Frank and Helene, Mary-Ann and Mike, Ed and Lynne, Nancy and John and Shirley and Jim. Loving grandpa of Michelle, Dustin, Jason, Jesse, Stephanie(Brad), Khayla, Jami-Lynn, Jenni, Jasmine, Jadyn, Meghan, Ryan, Tessa, Mikayla, Jaime, Beau, Haley, Josey, Nick, Noah, Paige, Carter and Parker. Also to great granddaughter Alexis. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Wednesday February 20, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers were said on Wednesday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. in the funeral home. A mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John R.C. Church, 131 Georgina St., Arthur on Thursday February 21, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Father Edward Hinsperger celebrated. Spring interment St. John Cemetery, Arthur. Remembrances to Groves Memorial Hospital, Building Fund, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
