Jackson, Glen Erwin; Passed away peacefully following a brief and courageous battle, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, on October 2, 2010 in his 70th year. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Jean (Parker). Loving father of Mark (Laurie), Karen Clark (Fred), Jeff (Janet) and daughter-in-law Trudy Hamilton. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Meagan, Keagan, Kaela, Maxwell, Marshall, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Chrystal, Grace, Luke, Devin and Ryan and great grandchild Juliet. Loving son of Jean (Aitken). Predeceased by his father George in 1968 and his son David in 2005. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Tuesday, October 5th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was conducted from Knox Presbyterian Church, 55 Church St. in Elora, on Wednesday, October 6th at 11am. Interment in the family plot at the Elora Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Glen can be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, Knox Presbyterian Church or a preferred children’s charity.
