Invitation extended to participate in Doors Open Fergus-Elora

Centre Wellington residents and visitors will once again have the opportunity to participate and explore the many “doors opened” on June 21, during the annual celebration of heritage, architecture, parks and culture known as Doors Open Fergus-Elora.

Organizers are excited about the sites that wish to participate again and as always are looking for new sites to keep visitors returning and interests high.

For owners of a heritage building, be it a business, family abode, or perhaps a unique concept visitors may find interesting, local Doors Open organizers would like to feature your site in the local one-day event.

This is a great way to bring new visitors to this community and share with them the rich history and local culture of the neighborhood, organizers state.

As with any great event, volunteers are needed whether it be for an hour, half a day or the full day 10am to 4pm.

“Why not show your support and get involved in this community event. It’s fun and exciting for volunteers and visitors. Choose a site that interests you or we will appoint a site for you,” organizers explain.
