Insights juried exhibition on until Sept. 4

One of the longest running juried art exhibitions in Ontario is underway at the Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA).

Insights, presented by the Elora Arts Council Insights committee and the museum, runs until Sept. 4.

Lois Scott won the Insights Award for her mixed media piece Every Five Days.

Wellington County prize winners include:

- Art Lucs from Eden Mills won the Ellen Langlands Memorial Award for his digital photo image Shoreline;

- Maggie Vanderweit of Fergus won the Fibre Art Award for her fibre piece Isis Whispers;

- John McGill of Fergus won the Photography Award for his photograph,  Growing Older:

- Heather Wood of Elora won the Three-Dimensional Award for her glass piece called Cloudscapes; and

- Richard Pilon of Eden Mills won the Works on Paper Award for his coloured pencil on rag paper piece, A Collection of Sorts.
