Hunter, Bruce; It is with great pain and sorrow that we have to announce the tragic loss to our family circle, friends and neighbours. Douglas Bruce Hunter, born August 3rd 1950 was chosen to continue on the Glory Trail on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011. He leaves behind his wife Daina, children Lija (Mike) Tovell, Freya (friend Josh), Nikki (Jarrett) Carty, grandchildren Halle and Owen Tovell, Jacob Hunter and “one to be”. Mother Mina, Mother-in-law Omi, sister Lenore (Peter Coad), sister-in-law and brother-in-law Aida and Daniel Crosthwaite, nephews William, Christian, Robert and niece Lara with son Brant. Bruce also leaves behind a large extended family on the prairies and in Toronto. We are all left to ponder and remember the magic and love he wove for us every day. May the Lord bless him and keep him and give us the peace that surpasses understanding. Cremation has taken place as per his request. A celebration of his life was held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Fergus on Tuesday, October 25th at 3pm with Pastor Dave Whitecross presiding.
