Hundreds flock to Sportsplex for Retirement Show
The Grand Quilt Guild had a booth at the Retirement Show and member Marie Skerritt had one of her quilts on display.

FERGUS - There are numerous organizations nearby to help someone considering retirement – from finances, to fitness to funerals. Hundreds of people came to the Retirement Show on Feb. 23 at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex to learn what’s on offer in the township.

The event is hosted by the Victoria Park Seniors Centre and featured booths from community groups, government agencies, vendors of assistive devices, recreational groups and more.

Numerous groups had displays the Retirement Show, on Feb. 23, including the VON.
