Howes, Beatrice Helen; At Caressant Care, Arthur on Tuesday April 15, 2008, in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late John Howes (1988).  Dear mother of Pauline Giles and her husband George of Belwood.  Also loved by five grandchildren, many great grandchildren and her son-in-law Milton Colwill.  Predeceased by her daughter Jean Colwill, Leonard and his wife Glenda, infant sons Gerald and David, her sister Edith and brothers Norman and Daniel.  Friends were received at the Thomson & Collins Funeral Home, 160 St David Street North, Fergus where the funeral service was held in the chapel on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.  Rev. Katherine Gregory of St John’s United Church, Belwood officiated.  Following the service, the family continued to visit with their friends at a reception held at the funeral home.  Spring Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Groves Hospital or St John’s United Church, Belwood, would be appreciated by the family.
