Horse races back at Erin Fair
Horse races are back at the annual fall fair here.
The horses are taking back the track on Oct. 8, at the 162nd Erin Fall Fair at 9:30am, noon and 3:30pm as the Erin Fair hosts mini chuck wagon and chariot races.
Mini chuck wagons will race down the track in real horse racing action in what organizers call “a local version of the Calgary Stampede.”
The Grand River Agricultural Society/Raceway is supplying some solid competition, as a real racehorse takes on a mini-horse, following the noon race.
Businesses are invited to join the excitement by sponsoring a wagon or chariot.
