Hornsby, Lewis William; Veteran of WW II and also a 30 year member of the R.C.L Br 229 in Elora. Suddenly with his family by his side on Mon May 5th 2014 at his home in Elora. Lew Hornsby age 91 years beloved husband of Ethel (nee: Grose) for 66 years. Loving father of Phyllis Hussey of Brantford, Steven of Salem, Fran Baehnisch and her partner Dave Crandell of London and John and his wife Andrea of New Zealand. Dearly loved by his grandchildren Shannon, Priscilla, Andrew, Jenny (Nathan), Chris, Matthew and Ethan, and great grandchildren Raine, Ayden, Asha, Sirocco, Rischa, Evren and Lux. Dear brother of Bernice Hill of Elora, brother in law of Eleanor Hall of Elora and brother in law Ken Hatch of Ottawa. Lew is survived by a number of nieces nephews and other family. Pre-deceased by brother Bruce and sister Evelyn Hatch and brother in law Harvey Hill. Funeral and cremation have taken place.
