Hooves for Hospice returns for seventh year

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The seventh annual Hooves for Hospice equine event is coming up on Oct. 26 at a farm located just outside of Fergus.

Participants are invited to register for this riding opportunity in support of Hospice Wellington.

Participants can ride their horse over private land at 6065 4th Line, Centre Wellington and help raise funds for the cause.

The cost is a minimum of $85 although participants are asked to raise more.

The day includes the ride and a hot lunch. And there will be prizes for top fundraisers.

Signed waivers and OEF/CRHRA coverage is required. Helmets are also required.

Participants can choose a walk only, a walk/trot, or a walk/trot/canter pace.

The ride starts at 11am sharp.

Registration is required before Oct. 19 as spaces are limited.
