On Sept. 24 Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre will host its annual Hoofbeat Challenge.

The fundraising event, a horse ride/dog walk/hike on the beautiful Sunrise farm in Puslinch Township, just 10 minutes southwest of Guelph, includes a silent auction, with many horse- and pet-themed prizes to be won, plus a bake sale, live music by Swan Creek, face painting, pet photography sessions and more.

All proceeds will support Sunrise’s therapy and recreation programs for adults and children with special needs.

Sunrise is a nationally accredited therapeutic riding centre that has been serving the local community since 1982.

Entry is by $50 donation or minimum $50 in pledges raised. All registered participants receive a delicious free lunch, T-shirt, door prize ticket and a gift bag of special items.

Family and friends of registrants are also welcome to attend.
