Honour Song to be performed Feb. 21
The Guelph Youth Singers III and SATB (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) choir and the Guelph Women’s Drum Circle, Wiiji Kwe Numgumook will perform together for Honour Song on Feb. 21 at 3pm.
Markus Howard and Jan Sherman invite the public to a cross-cultural celebration in the atrium of The Frank Hasenfratz Centre of Excellence.
Choristers, audience and drummers will celebrate authentic Canadian aboriginal culture which will include drumming, poetry, singing and storytelling and will introduce the audience to previously unexplored sound, rhythm and repertoire.
