Holiday Charity Revue in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters coming to Fergus

Come one, come all to the Fergus Grand Theatre on Dec. 5 to the second annual Holiday Charity Revue featuring the Lucas Rogerson Band in support Big Brothers Big Sisters Centre Wellington.

A sensational evening of original soul, Rogerson and band featuring Caleb DeGroot (drums/vocals), Drew Moore (bass/ vocals), Ben Roth (percussion), Don Featherstone (saxophone/ horns) and Kevin Brown (keyboard/horns), will perform a range of music including motown and holiday favorites as well as new songs from their upcoming album.

Rogerson is no stranger to the Wellington music scene, performing and touring for over 15 years with the Settlers Creek Band and more recently establishing the Lucas Rogerson Band. He also owns and operates Mapletone Records, an independent record company which provides local independent artists with access to professional recording, video and concert production.

Rogerson has released two records to date with Settlers Creek Band. The first was Line in the Dirt in 2011 and then he recorded two singles in 2012 including Stumbled on to You  and Life is Out There.

Rogerson has also completed two solo records, Streetlights  in 2013 and Kaleidoscope in  2014. As Canada’s leading child and youth mentoring charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitates life-changing relationships that inspire and empower children and youth to reach their potential, both as individuals and citizens.

Always the first Saturday in December, The second annual Holiday Charity Revue hits the stage at the Fergus Grand Theatre Dec. 5 at 8pm. Tickets are $25/adult, $22/senior, $15/12 and under and $20/ group of 10 or more.
