HOLDER, Richard, of Kitchener and formerly of Palmerston passed away peacefully at Wellington Hospice, Guelph on Saturday, December 24, 2016 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of the late Sharlene Holder (1988). Dear father of Adam Holder and Erin Austin-Holder of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of Cadence, Connor and Brayden. Brother of Cathie and Jim Rogers and Susan Forde all of Oakville. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Richard’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. A further period of fellowship and celebration will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Frank Lambier Royal Canadian Legion Branch #409, Palmerston. Blair Lodge # 314 will conduct a Masonic Service at the Frank Lambier Legion Palmerston on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. A private family graveside service and interment will take place in the Palmerston Cemetery in the spring.
