Historical society presents talk on objects at museum
On March 18 the Wellington County Historical Society will present Telling Our Story: History Revealed through Objects.
Museum curator Susan Dunlop will share the stories behind several of the artifacts in the Wellington County Museum collection.
With over 17,000 pieces in the collection only a selection of the objects are on display at any given time. The presentation will address what and why the museum collects and how it cares for, stores and displays family treasures that have been donated.
The event is on March 18 at 2pm in Aboyne Hall museum. The museum is located between Elora and Fergus on County Road 18.
