Hillsburgh Century Church Theatre to present Filthy Rich
HILLSBURGH – The Century Church Theatre in Hillsburgh is set to present Filthy Rich Sept. 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27.
Tyrone Power (Randolph Burlton) is drunk and writing a novel when he gets caught up in the abduction of prominent politician, and the murder of an investigative reporter.
Two wealthy sisters, Anne and Susan Scott (Nicki Simms and Yoss Appolloni), believe he is their only hope to find the missing politician while Detective Stackhouse (Jason Riedel) suspects he is involved in the crime, and mafia boss Henry “The Pig” Duvall (Dan Schieck) fears he knows too much.
Will Tyrone and his assistant Jamie Mclean (Angie Sapalovski) solve the case before it’s too late?
Who’s a good guy, and who can he trust in the charade?
This fast-paced, award-winning film noir comedy thriller is directed by Michelle Righetti.
Officials say the witty dialogue and non-stop action will keep audiences on the edge of their seats right to the very end.
