Hill, Stanley Roland; Stan passed away peacefully on February 24, 2009 in his 88th year. He was the much loved husband of Margaret (Swackhammer) for 69 years and the caring father of Arline, Betty, Alvena and Jim. He was the devoted grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Stan was predeceased by his parents, Ada and Charles, six brothers and seven sisters. The family received friends at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 197, 15 Wright Avenue, Acton on Friday, March 6th from 1pm until the funeral service that celebrated Stan’s life, which was conducted by Rev.
