ELORA - Centre Wellington council has approved a zoning amendment application by Highland Pines Campground  in Belwood for a lot line adjustment.

“The land in question is part of a former gravel pit,” managing director of planning and development Brett Salmon wrote in his report to council on Aug. 26.

He noted the amendment will add land “to the adjacent campground lands.”

Park Licence agreement

Centre Wellington has entered an amending agreement with the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) for lands at Victoria Park in Elora. The agreement updates the terms of the original 2010 agreement.

Changes include upping the insurance requirement from $2 million to $5 million, as well as an updated indemnity clause.
