Herron, Joan (nee McKeown); It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of our precious mother, who went home to be with her saviour. Peacefully at home in Guelph in her 75th year with her family by her side on Monday, November 15th, 2010. Loving mother of the 5 B’s, Barbara (Tim Feil), Bruce (Barbara), Bonnie (J. P. Dupuis), Beverly (Steve O’Neill) and Brian (Sandy) all of Guelph. Cherished nana to 15 grandchildren, Amanda, Nathan, Jesse, Whitney, Laura, Michael, Trevor, Cameron, Gregory, Melissa, Jeffrey, Brandon, Chelsey, Chrystal and Chad. Also survived by her husband Gary Herron, father of the 5 B’s. Special sister of Cathy (Martin Bootsman) and Rosemary (Dave Bott), sisters-in-law Diane and Barb. Fondly remembered by Ernel, Rosie and Emma. Pre-deceased by her infant daughter Mary (1966). Parents Edward and Margaret McKeown and sister Adele Aitchison, Mary Richardson, Dorothy Bergin, and brothers Eddie McKeown and Raymond McKeown. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 37 CHURCH STREET, ELORA. From 2-4 and 7-9pm on Thursday. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, November 19th, 2010 at 1pm. Followed by interment at the St Mary-St Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery in Elora. Remembrances to the Hospital for Sick Children, Salvation Army or M.S.
