Help pets in need this month
This Valentine’s Day give local animal shelters a helping hand by supporting Global Pet Foods’ 8th Annual Show Us Your Heart Campaign.
“There is nothing more heartbreaking than a homeless pet wanting to be loved,” said campaign spokesman Don Cherry.
Until Feb. 15, Global Pet Foods is asking Canadian pet owners to donate as little as $1 to help raise funds for local animal shelters across Canada. Global Pet Foods and Hill's Ideal Balance are matching the first dollar of every donation made in-store. Donations can also be made online by visiting www.globalpetfoods.com.
Donations at the Fergus store will go to the Cats Anonymous shelter in Marsville.
Since 2006, Show Us Your Heart has raised over $570,000 for shelters across Canada.
