Heels for Hospital fundraiser set for Oct. 16
Heels for Hospitals is back. For the second consecutive year, Wightman Telecom is hosting a spirited one kilometre dash-walk-run-jog on Oct. 16, starting at 9:45am.
Men, women, and children from several counties are coming together to show their support for local hospitals.
Strapping on their favourite high heels, – or sneakers – participants will meet at Mary’s Restaurant in Clifford and walk approximately one kilometre up Elora Street North to Wightman Telecom headquarters.
Inspired by the giving spirit of Paul and Blair Wightman, coordinator Hope Robertson said Heels for Hospitals is another way of contributing to the community and giving back.
