Father’s Heart Healing Centre is expanding with addition of King’s Café Lounge and Bookstore opening here this month.
The official opening of King’s Cafe in the downtown core will be held on Oct. 16 from 1 to 7pm.
The cafe is a destination for the entire family and offers a comfortable lounge, Christian books, DVDs and CDs for the whole family along with gifts, cards, prints, natural skin care products and more.
The cafe is an extension of the Father’s Heart Healing Centre which is located next door. The Healing Centre was founded by husband and wife team Eddie and Maggie Baratto in 2011.
The cafe doubles as the National Headquarters of Canada for the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR).
The Barattos were appointed as the national directors by IAHR and are working with regional leaders representing over 40 Healing Rooms/Centres across Canada. Healing Rooms are set up like a walk-in clinic with private rooms to ensure confidentiality. It is a safe place for people to receive 30 minute prayer sessions for emotional, physical and mental issues.
The centre says there have been many testimonies from visitors who profess to have been healed from various ailments. Prayer teams are trained in biblical principles to release God’s love through the finished work of Jesus Christ.
The Healing Rooms in Arthur are open every Wednesday from 10:30am-2pm and every Friday evening from 7:30pm-9:30pm. No appointment is necessary.
The mobile ministry at Father’s Heart has been involved at the local senior’s home where teams go in to pray for and bless the residents.
Teams have also been invited into schools to pray for the teachers and principals on PA days.
