HAYDEN, Philip, 1959 - 2016, of Drayton passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in his 57th year. Soul partner of Shirley Mackay for 25 years. Dear father of Chad and Vanessa Mackay of Rothsay and Kalin Mackay of Drayton. Grandpa to Mason and Leah Mackay. Brother of Elaine and Art Stevens of Kitchener, Sandra and Greg Mortimer of B.C. and Brian and Kim Hayden of Kitchener. Fondly remembered by the Mackay family as well as his nieces, nephews and many friends. Special thanks to Bayshore Home Health, especially Kate Wick for her exceptional care and compassion, Dr Chris Lund, Dr. Phil Deacon and Dr. Hubay. To honour Phil’s wishes cremation has taken place with interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. A Celebration of Phil’s life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Drayton Kinsmen Hall/Old Arena 49 Elm Street, Drayton. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cancer Unit at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest would be appreciated by the family.
