Harvest time - The Palmerston Agriculture Society hosted a drive-through parade on Aug. 28 from 1 to 3pm at the Palmerston Arena. The event was was part of the alternative activities conducted because the society was unable to host an in-person fair for the second straight year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The fair regularly features local food offerings and a “Taste of Minto” event. The Palmerston Evangelical Missionary Church float in Saturday’s parade provided a preview of the fall harvest.
