Harriston Rising organizing Canada Day sing-along

HARRISTON – The Harriston Rising committee is encouraging local residents to join in a celebration of Canada Day on July 1, even if they can’t gather for traditional large-scale celebrations this year.

“Let’s celebrate together, both in spirit and online,” the committee urges.

Residents are invited to join in the singing of O Canada from their lawns and laneways or on the sidewalks and streets at 7pm.

“Decorate the front of your home. Decorate yourself. Show your pride,” states a press release from the committee.
