Harriston Rising Chili Cookoff
HARRISTON - Harriston Rising hosted its annual chili cookoff at the Harriston Legion on March 1. Local businesses competed for prizes in a competition judged by diners.
Harriston Rising committee member Peggy Raftis, left, and Harriston Rising events committee chair Kathy Butcher, right, presented the first prize to Mayor Dave Turton and his wife, Pam Turton, representing the Town of Minto. Second prize went to last year’s chili champions Eric Cox Wholesale.
