Harriston-Minto Fall Fair celebrates Autumn Treasures
Autumn Treasures is the theme of the 2018 Harriston-Minto Fall Fair, set to run from Sept. 14 to 16. The 159th annual fair will feature livestock shows, a demolition derby, soapbox derby, mini-putt golf, a beef and pork barbecue and numerous other attractions.
The always popular Agriculture Awareness and Let’s Talk Science displays will also be part of the festivities, as will a dog show, baby show and pedal tractor pull.
Grey-Bruce Escape Rooms will return to the fairgrounds this year, offering several escape challenges.
Among the new attractions this year will be Tex Rexman, the Comedy Cowboy. Having studied at the Second City School of Comedy, Rexman’s quick-witted banter complements a daring cowboy show with fire, knife juggling, whips and lasso. Rexman has performed at Canada’s Wonderland, Ottawa’s New Years Eve celebration and various busking festivals across Canada.
