Harris, Peter John; On August 8, 2012, at the Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home in Fergus, Ontario. Peter J. Harris in his 92nd year. Survived by his sister-in-law Kathleen Torbitt of Whitesboro, N.Y., and nieces and nephews, Amanda Harris of Warminster England, Stephen Wisby of S. Wales, Anita Tomaszewski of S. Wales, Heather Isaac of S. Wales, Jane Allchurch of S. Wales, Myra Kazanjian of Whitesboro N.Y., and John Torbitt of Georgia, U.S.A. Peter will be fondly remembered by a number of great-nieces and great-nephews and other family members. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (2003), his brother Michael and nephew Paul Harris. Cremation has taken place. As Peter wished there will be no visitation or funeral. Peter was a kind and positive gentleman. He spent many years teaching at Guelph C.V.I. Peter was also a long time member of the Fergus Brass Band. He was the percussionist until age 90. We would like to thank Dr’s. Ewen and Stickney and the wonderful caring staff at Wellington Terrace.
