Harcourt, Joan Dunbar

; Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on the morning of February 18, 2010, in her 80th year. Joan was the beloved wife of John Minehan Harcourt, and the loving mother of Sarah Parkes, William (Marcia), John, Jane (Sebastian) Abate, Kelly (Michael) Gillespie and Robert (Katherine). She was predeceased by her son Thomas. Joan is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private    family service was held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Arthur, on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
