Hanna, Harold Robert (September 18, 1914 – May 8, 2013). The family of Harold Robert Hanna wishes to announce his passing on May 8, 2013 peacefully at the Wellington Terrace. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Helen Elizabeth (Nee: Damper). He was the only son of the late Isabella Jane (Nee: Brown) and James Robert Hanna. He was predeceased by his baby sister Marguerite. He leaves to mourn his 3 children and their spouses; Beryl and Ron Simpson, Beverly and Dave Jamieson and Redge and Val Hanna; 14 Grandchildren; Debra, David, Gary, Rhonda Simpson; Brad, Kevin, Paul Steele; Craig, Jason, Michael, Jordan Hanna; Nicole, Melanie and Lucus Jamieson; and 14 great grandchildren. Dad was in his 99th year and saw many changes over the years. May you rest in peace Dad, knowing you were Loved. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Wellington Terrace for their wonderful care and attention to Harold. A Funeral Service was held at The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St South, Fergus on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 11:00 – 1:00 pm.
