HALL, John Douglas “Doug” Passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace, on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 in his 90th year. Loving husband of Pauline. Devoted father of Wendy McConnell (Glenn), Bryan Hall (Wendy) and step-father of Adam Smith (Samantha) and Stephanie de Gryp (Toby). Caring grandfather of Christopher Hall (Jenn), Adam Hall (Becky) and David Hall (Nina) and step-grandfather of Noah Smith, Zende Smith, River Smith, Jimmy McNeil and Carrick de Gryp. Proud great grandfather of Arabelle and Everleigh. Survived by his sister-in-law Brenda Hall. Doug was predeceased by his first wife Fern (nee Morrison), brothers Donald and David and sister-in-law Margaret Hall. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was conducted at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 325 St. George Street West in Fergus, on Monday, November 6th, 2017 at 1:00pm, Rev. David Whitecross officiated.
