Hacienda Santa Maria hosts paso fino show
ERIN – Hacienda Santa Maria, a paso fino horse farm in Erin, hosted its first paso fino horse show on Nov. 3. The show featured several of the farm’s horses and showcased the breed’s unique stride as well as the extensive training and horsemanship the farm promotes. International trainer Moises Chevere Santos provides a demonstration using the farm’s champion stallion, El Manto de Santa Maria. El Manto was the winner in his class at the 2022 Extravaganza International, a feat that no other Canadian paso fino horses had achieved.
