Habitat for Humanity Wellington County is relaunching Women Build for its second project to be completed in the summer.

The launch will kick with a bowl-a-thon fundraiser. The event will feature Taylor Evans Public School student Karson Simpson reading her contest-winning essay Hope.

There will be opportunities to bowl, take part in a silent auction, to win prizes, and help a family in need.

Details about Women Build, other fundraising events and how to take part in the build will be posted at www.habitatwellington.on.ca/womenbuild.html after April 1.

The bowl-a-thon is April 3 with registration 2pm and a game 2:20pm. The second registration is at 3pm; second bowling at 3:30pm at Woodlawn Bowl, 253 Woodlawn Road, West, in Guelph

Tickets for one hour of bowling, shoes, light show, drink and food coupon are $25 per person; $80 for a family of four; and $10 per additional child. For tickets or information email womenbuildbowlathon@live.ca, phone the Habitat for Humanity office at 519-767-9752, or buy them at the ReStore, at 104 Dawson Road, Suite 300.
